He is currently one of the co-hosts of the nationally syndicated radio show, ''The Breakfast Club'' with DJ Envy and Angela Yee, and stars in ''Guy Code'', Guy Court and ''Girl Code'', VJ for ''The Week in Jams'' with DJ Envy and Sofi Green. In 2015, Charlamagne began hosting the MTV2 show Uncommon Sense. Charlamagne is known for his work on ''The Breakfast Club'' and on Twitter. He became popular from being on ''The Wendy Williams Experience'' with Wendy Williams on VH1. He has also starred on various MTV and MTV2 shows. ==Career== Charlamagne Tha God began his career as a radio intern in South Carolina upon his release from prison.〔 His personal honesty, usually accompanied with humorous anecdotes, and fearlessness to ask the "tough questions" gained him popularity in urban radio. He continued his ascent in radio ultimately becoming second mic alongside radio host and media personality Wendy Williams. At this point, his unorthodox and upfront questioning of Hip-Hop/R&B artists on radio raised his public profile but also caused rifts between himself and the guests of the show. He was laid off from the program in 2008.〔 Relations between Charlamagne and Wendy Williams went south for reasons unknown. Charlamagne has stated numerous times on The Breakfast Club on Power 1051 that he views Williams as a mentor and has no ill feeling towards her. Charlamagne tha God is currently a radio personality with DJ Envy and Angela Yee on ''The Breakfast Club'' on Power 105.1 in New York City, New York and 93.7 New Hip Hop in Houston, Texas. Charlamagne has become an important component to the shows immense popularity.〔 Charlamagne is currently a cast member on ''Guy Code'' with Lil Duval. Guy Code is a comedy television show on MTV2 that talks about a special code of conduct just for men.
